THE COMPANY

The Agapita Rubio's vineyards, of strictly familiar nature, were founded by Juan Rubio in the tear 1946. It was at that time, when he decided to produce his first own make wines.
Nowadays, and form the year 1982, the company is managed by his daughter Agapita Rubio Bravo, and in this case, it is a confirmation of the good work that previous generation have been making.

From one of the most important vine-growing zones in Extremadura, (the one in Cañamero, belonging to Cáceres province, which is located in the heart of Las Villuercas region ) the vineyard offers very well-known wines. Agapita Rubio devotes the best part of her production to quality wines, managing to join a whole handmade way to obtain the best wine through the use of methods in the old style; with high technology in near one million litres. All this work has been recognized as it was incorporated to the Ribera of Guadiana Designation of Origin.
